About Me
Photography is my passion. I have been professionally working in the industry for the last 30 years and love capturing the beauty of nature as well as the complex, and oftentimes hidden, thoughts and emotions of people. I am well-versed in both classic and modern photography, and love developing black and white photos in my own darkroom.
I was schooled in the art of photography at an early age by my uncle, Arthur Carver, who was an Army war correspondent. I traveled the world with the US Army as a young man and photographed throughout Europe, spending a great deal of time capturing German landscapes and people. I studied photography in college, as well as at the Virginia Beach Museum of Contemporary Arts, and mentored with Fox Studios of Chicago in wedding portraiture.
My passion for capturing life's precious moments is evident in my life's work and by the fact that you will never see me without a camera on my shoulder. If you are looking for experience, genuine passion, and a commitment to producing professional quality work, look no further.
